This was the question I wanted to answer two months ago when I tasted 250 of the most popular wines sold online in China. I am excited to announce the results of the blind tasting which will also be published in a booklet on September 7th. More than 60 wines are highlighted in the booklet for offering good value and quality. To attend our press conference and walk around tasting of these highlighted wines at M on the Bund in Shanghai on 7 September, or to obtain a copy of the booklet, please contact us at [email protected].
Since August and until end of October, I will be filming a wine and travel documentary with Chosun Broadcasting Corporation, a part of Chosun Ilbo media. The 5-hour, 5-episode documentary film called 'The World's Top 50 Wineries', will be aired to an audience of 5-plus million people this winter. Another wine documentary with Dutch film company Farmhouse Film & TV Productions called Masters of Wine, which will be distributed internationally, is due out in the coming months. See the trailer here.
Hope you enjoy the new articles in English, Chinese and Korean that we have added to our site this past month. And don’t forget to check out the new videos on Visuals, where I interviewed 3-Michelin star chefs to get their insights and tips on food and wine pairing.
Hope to see many of you on my travels in the coming two months to Shanghai, Napa, Champagne, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhone, Piedmont and Tuscany! As always, I love to hear from you so please send me your comments and questions via Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, WeChat or Weibo.
